about me
Hello my friendly followers, let me tell you little bit about my life and how I discovered my love of teaching.
I am Myrandah Staub and I am 26 years old.
After graduating from high school in 2009 I was determined to move to the big city and pursue a career in fashion and journalism. I found the perfect little school for me at Point Park University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I loved every moment of my time there and networked my way into several internships. After graduating in 2013 from Point Park I had a hard time figuring out what direction I wanted to go.

I ended up moving back home. A year went by and I was still unsure of what I wanted to do with my life. I wanted a career that I was passionate about, could have fun with, and be creative. In 2014 I accepted a job as a Kindergarten Classroom Assistant. From day one I was absorbed into the energetic, fast paced atmosphere of the school. After seeing the kids day-after-day and spending countless hours working with them and getting to know them, they became as much as an influence on my life as I was on theirs.
The teachers that I was working with noticed how interested I was in learning more about elementary education and would offer me numerous opportunites to do all kinds of learning activities with their students. After just a few short months working as a Kindergarten Classroom Assistant I knew teaching was what I was meant to do.

You know that you found the right career when your work doesn't feel like work.
